The family of Bernard Laforest are sad to announce his death on December 18, 2018. Loving father of Roger « Rolly » (Christine). Cherished grandpa of Josh, Jessica and great-grandchildren Jack, Alexa & Everleigh. He will be missed by his brothers Bert (Linda) and Jack (Jocelyne). Also missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Michel, parents Hector and Anne-Marie (née St. Pierre) and his brother John.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. Keeping with Bernard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive their relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion 383 Morningstar Ave., Welland, on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. Memorial donations would be appreciated by the family to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.
