Age 86 of Dartmouth, Bernard passed away peacefully on December 13, 2018. Bernard grew up in Beloeil, Quebec, son of Aurore Lavoie and Joseph Parent, where he lived along with brothers and sisters.
Bernard served in the RCN in the Korean Conflict on HMCS Haida. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Somme Branch 31.
He is survived by his daughter Bernadette; and sons Paul, Claude, Rene, and Denis (Dartmouth, NS). He is predeceased by his wife Jean Parent and his son Bernard Parent. Granddaughters Stephanie, Michelle (Halifax, NS), Robin and Nicole (Cape Breton, NS).
Visitation service will be held at Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen Street, (Time to be announced)
