Beatrice Mable Cheverie
Cheverie, Beatrice Mable, age 79 of Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2018 in Oakwood Terrace . Born March 26, 1939 she was a daughter of the late Truman and Minervia (nee: Baker) Power and step father Fred Hopkinson.
She is survived by sisters; Laura Fizzard (Jerry), Shirley (David) Chin, Bernadette (Edward) Forgeron, Rose Marie Dorion, Barbara (William) Painting, brothers; Raymond (Bernadine), Harold (Donna), David (Vicki) and Darrell (Gail) Hopkinson, sons; Daniel (Betty Lou), Steven (Malinda), Matthew (Cheyene), daughters; Lynda, Nancy (Gordon) Keeler, step-daughter; Barbara (Kent) Jackson, grandchildren; Daniel (Dawn), Tara (Ryan), Kyle (Stephanie), Curtis (Jennifer), Ryan, Kaila, Dallin, Maisha, Mya, step-grandchildren; Amanda (Dan), Neil (Crystal), Alex (Kendra), 7 great-grandchildren 1 step-great grandchild.
Besides her husband of many years Daniel Francis Cheverie, Beatrice was predeceased by brother, George and Junior Hopkinson, Carl Hatcher, Ronald E. Arnold
There will be a memorial service on Thursday October 11 at 11:00 AM in Atlantic Funeral Homes 771 Main Street Dartmouth with a burial to follow in Jeddore.
The family would like to thank Joan Mckeough, and Dave Cluett for standing by mom through good and bad times. A special thanks to all the staff of Oakwood Terrace and Northwood Home Care.
Moms sense of humour, singing, laughter, and love will be greatly missed.
