Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother passed away at Kelowna General Hospital in the early morning hours on Father’s Day. He is now at rest in the arms of this Lord and Saviour after a long battle with diabetes, congestive heart failure and dementia.
He is survived by his wife Katherina, his daughter Marlene, son-in-law Fred and their children Phillip, Katrina and Jennifer and his son Raymond, daughter-in-law Rose and their children Emily and Rachel. He is also survived by his sisters Ella and Helga in Germany and his brother Ewald in Toronto as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10:00 am in the chapel at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd. A private family interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a reception for all at the Springfield Funeral Home Family Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
