Antonio Bastone (1957-2018)
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, Antonio Bastone, AKA Antonio Hilario Gomes, AKA Trinity, AKA Tony passed away at the Kootenay Lake Hospital in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. It was the result of heart and kidney failure at the age of 61.
He was born January 21, 1957 in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. He is survived by his only child Justin Ashly Gomes, AKA Ash von Chamier and grandson Tristan Ashly von Chamier who reside in Tallahassee, Florida, U.S.A. where Antonio lived the majority of his life.
He took part in many bold journeys. He modeled professionally across the US and Europe. He was a winner of 2 Golden Glove boxing competitions. He dredged for gold across 72 different claims along the Mazaruni River in Guyana, South America. Antonio was a consistent top 3 winner of many amateur body building competitions. He was the original owner and creator of Legends Muscle & Fitness based out of Tallahassee, Florida. He later went on to create a second gym Rampage Muscle & Fitness. He authored a published book entitled “In The Winds of Forgotten Divinity” and then later scripted, directed, acted and filmed a movie known as “Of Saints & Outlaws” based off of his novel. He was without doubt a mover and a shaker with a constant charisma that drew adventures toward him throughout his life. As such a large personality, he was a true experience to many people over his lifetime and will be missed.
On a personal note, I, Ash von Chamier will always treasure the immense source of inspiration and support he was for me in fueling pursuits of any and all artistic dreams I set my focus on. He exposed me to the path of discovery in building a foundation in spirituality and maintaining life perspective. I always admired his ability with maximum drive to manifest his visions into reality. I would not be where I am today without having such a unique and energizing man as my father. Rest in peace Dad. You will always be a large part of the man I have become and I forever thank you.
