It is with sadness that the family of the late Arthur Edward Stagg announces his passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL aged 92 years. Arthur retired from Abitibi Price after 46 years of service. He was a member of The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel and a member of the Men’s Fellowship.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Dorothy Stagg (nee Jenkins) and her family; sons, Arthur (Karen), Randy (Bonnie), Rick (Shelley); daughters, Cynthia (John) Thompson; grandsons, Mark (Cheri), Jonathan (Jennifer), Geoffrey (Stephanie), Arthur (A.J.) (Letisha); granddaughters, Jennifer Dudes, Meghan (Robert), & Shawna; step-granddaughters, Stephanie, & Sarah; great-grandchildren, Brady, Kaitlynn, Jordan, Rebeckah, Isabella, Carmindy, Makenna, Ellie, & Denver. Step-great-grandchild, Rickki Lynn (Oxford), Wynter (Dancey); sisters, Madeline (Claude) Willis, Elsie (Ches) Butt, Vera (Don) Parsons,Ivy Squires, & Glenda Firmage.
Arthur is predeceased by his first wife, Annie Susan Stagg of 58 years; parents, William & Violet Stagg; brothers, Albert, Joseph, Raymond & Thomas Stagg; sisters, Sadie (Lee), & Marie (Patey); as well as a large number of relatives and friends.
The public visitation will take place Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The funeral service will take place Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Park Street Citadel, 27 Park Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Caribou Rd. Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
