It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Armand Pillon. 80 years, of Ruscom, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at Sun Parlour Home in Leamington. Beloved husband of Adele (nee Schofield) for 57 years. Loving father of Gary (Brad), Dennis, Marcel (Lisa), and Jason (Louise). Cherished grandfather of Marielle, Eric, Joshua and Aiden. Survived by his siblings Marcella Caza, Rosaire (Doris), Teresa Sudeyko, Mary Jane (Zoli) Horvath, Rachel (Jerry) Noel. Brother-in-law of Alice Pillon and Edgar Lebert. Predeceased by Paul, Estelle, Hector (Rose), Maryann (Paul), Hector Caza, Cecile (Clarence), Aurel, Maurice, Steve Sudeyko, Madelaine, and Michael. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Armand retired from H.J. Heinz Co. after 30 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council #2775 and his favourite pastimes included making wine, chopping woods and riding his antique tractors. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov 30 from 6-9 p.m. at Visitation Parish 5407 Comber Side Road, Comber and on Saturday, Dec 1 from 9-9:45 a.m. with Funeral Mass commencing at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
