Anthony Kormish
13 April , 1933 – 2 October , 2018
Anthony Kormish of Kelowna was born in Spiers, Saskatchewan on April 13, 1933 and passed away October 2, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Janet. He is survived by his 5 children: Rob, Rick, Jack, Toni and Carrie, 13 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. In his early years he ran his own bakery in Kinistino, Saskatchewan, eventually moving to Saskatoon where he managed the co-op and Dominion bakeries. In the early 1990’s he and his son Rick purchased Tripke’s Bakery in Kelowna where he continued to work as he was able. He was an avid fisherman and spent every spring fishing the northern lakes of Saskatchewan such as Waskesui and Weyakwin. At Anthony’s (Tony’s) request there will be no celebration of life. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
