Obituary of Anne Raynsford
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Tuesday morning, January 30th, 2018. Anne Marie Raynsford (nee Hollis), of Clavering, at the age of 77 years. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Peter Raynsford for 54 years. Loving mother of Neil Raynsford, of Halifax. Proud grandmother of Chelsea, of London and proud nana of Abigail and Cameron, of Hepworth. Dear sister of Kevin Hollis, of England and sister-in-law of Michael Raynsford (Joyce), Roger Raynsford (Linda) and Yvonne Raynsford, all of Owen Sound. Anne will be sadly missed by her best friends, Ann and Kathleen Odor, of Hepworth and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Caroline Hollis; her son, Christopher Raynsford; her sister, Barbara Beattie (Pat); her parents-in-law, Russell and Rose Raynsford; her brother-in-law, David Raynsford.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to service at the church. A Funeral Service for Anne Raynsford will be held at the Sauble Christian Fellowship Church, 25 Southampton Parkway, Sauble Beach, on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. David Brotherton officiating. Spring interment in Zion Cemetery, Hepworth. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Chapman House Hospice, the Sauble Christian Fellowship Building Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society as an expression of sympathy.
