It is with a sense of deep sorrow, loss and thankfulness for her life that we announce that our beloved Anne Krupa passed away peacefully at her home in Gibbons on the morning of December 10. 2018 with her family at her side.
She is survived by her sister, Natalka Krupa, brother; John Kochan, son Wayne (Paula) and their children; SkyAnne Krupa, Kimberly (Chris) Johnson, Kerry (Joel) Derdall and great-grandson Judah Derdall, Her son Gene (Kate) and children Joel Krupa, JoyAnne Krupa (Josh) Lavigne, Tim Krupa, and Jeff Krupa, as well as numerous beloved nephews and nieces, and their families.
Born January 1, 1927 she was predeceased by her husband Joe, her sister Katie, sister Helen, and all of her sisters and brothers-in-law.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, and her former students and teaching colleagues, church family and community family.
A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, December 14 at Serenity Funeral Service at 9914-103 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday December 15th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gibbons, 4602-50 Ave. followed by a luncheon.
Interment will be at 1:15 at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Edmonton 13819-82 St.
