It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Maria of Tuesday May 1, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Erdere. Cherished mother of Riccardo, loving aunt of Antonio (Amanda) Varrasso and Daniella ( Billy) Stajcer. Dearest great aunt of Lily and Daniele. Daughter of the late Donato and Antonietta Rosatone, daughter in-law of the late Riccardo and Isolina Bartolomeo. Much loved sister of the late Francesca and Daniele Varrasso. Anna Maria will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends living in Canada, Italy and the USA. Anna Maria was a long term employee of Allan Candies in Hamilton. Special thanks to the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital ICU and 8 West for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, from 4-9 p.m. with Vigil prayers at 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Hamilton (Barton and Prospect) on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Mountain View Gardens on HWY 8 in Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers donation to St. Anthony’s Building Fund would be appreciated by the family
