Forever missed & always remembered
Ann Virginia Clarkson, age 62, of Fort Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, October 20th, 2018, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Amherst, Ann was the daughter of Fred Cook and his late wife Sammie Cook.
Ann was a devoted and loving mother, and compassionate friend. She was an active member of the Sackville Chamber of Commerce, participant in the Relay for Life, long time member of the Trinity – St. Stephen’s United Church choir, an art and piano enthusiast, and a lover of music and animals.
Ann will be dearly missed by her sons: Christopher (Amy) Clarkson, Matthew (Jessica) Rosin, and Adam (Jennine Wong) Clarkson, former husband: Peter Clarkson, father: Fred Cook (senior), siblings: Heather (Bruce) Maxwell, Joy (Mike) McKay, Sam (Ellen) Cook, Fred (Pam) Cook, John (Amy) Cook, Tammie (Chris) Hayden, and other extended family and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 98 Church Street, Amherst, NS, 902-667-9906.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd, at 11:00 am at The Anglican Parish of Christ Church, 5 Lawrence St, Amherst, NS B4H 3G4, with a reception to follow.
Donations in Ann’s memory may be made to the L.A. Animal Shelter, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
