Andre J. Lagace
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of André in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of 56 years of Betty-Ann (nee Losier). Loving father of Richard Miller (Lise), Christiane and Robert all of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of Steven Miller and Cindy (Marc) Dupéré and great grandfather of Paige, Jaxon and soon to be baby girl. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Xavier & Philomène (nee D’amour), his brothers and sisters Xavier, Léo Paul, Ludger, Jean, Elizabeth, Marie, Marie-Louise, Marie-Jeanne, Madeleine, Marguerite and Thérèse. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Palliative care team especially Amelie Lafleur for her dedication, care and compassion during his last weeks.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 12, 2018 from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Deacon Michel Néron officiating). A reception will be held in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to Timmins and District Hospital Foundation or Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
