It is with heavy hearts we the family of Alma Mary Loughery, wife of Arthur Loughery, of St. Martins announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario on February 6, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary Henderson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers George, John and Ralph Henderson; sisters Helen Brown and Norma Hayes and her granddaughter Sadie.
Alma loved all animals, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed and always remembered.
In addition to her loving husband of 61 years, Arthur she is survived by her sons Thomas Loughery (Cathy), Michael Loughery, Tony Crilley (Steve) and Bruce Coleman; daughters Nancy Floyd and Tracey Butler (Tom); brothers Harold Henderson (Beryl), Kenny Henderson and Jim Henderson; sisters Irma Floyd, Rena Hayes and Marilyn Bennett (Clifford); 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Alma’s wishes there will be no visitations or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Remembrances in her memory may be made to Lakewood Heart Start, Palliative Care Unit SJRH or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
