Obituary of Allan Carter
Allan Eugene Carter of Formosa, passed away surrounded by family, at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Saturday, October 6th, 2018, in his 69th year.
Beloved husband of Sharmane Carter (née Bruder) of Formosa.
Loving father of Jeff Carter of Chesley and Tammy Fortune (Kirk) of Chesley.
Devoted grandfather of Jeffrey and Matthew Carter and Brooklyn, Hailey and Madison Fortune.
Missed by his siblings, Cathy McKinney (Dennis) of Comox, B.C., William Carter (Effie), Robert Carter (Emma) all of London and Bruce Carter of Kincardine.
Fondly remembered by in-laws, Madeline Altman of Wingham, Diane Carter of Bayfield, Doug Bruder of Formosa, Brenda Tebbutt (Dale) of Neustadt, Walter Bruder (Donna) of Paisley and Marion Schnurr (Wayne) of Walkerton and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Millicent Carter, brothers Ernest Carter Jr., Anthony Carter, sister Linda Carter and sister-in-law Lynda Bruder.
Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service to celebrate Allan’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
Final resting place Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Formosa.
Memorial donations to Chapman House or South West Local Health Integration Network or Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation, CT Scan would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
