OBITUARY
Alex Scott Mitchell
November 26, 1992 – November 5, 2018
On Monday, November 5, 2018, Alex Mitchell, husband, brother, son and grandson passed away suddenly at the age of 25 years.
Alex will be forever remembered by his wife, Shelby from South Range; his parents, Daren and Kristi Mitchell, his brother, Linden and sister, Kyla all from Brighton Colorado. He is also remembered by his in-laws, Duey and Jacqueline Hill and Shelby’s sister, Darla and brothers, Brock and Jericho from South Range. The grandparents, Ray and Diana Mitchell of Brighton, Colorado and Robert and Connie Sorensen of Grand Island, Nebraska also grieve the loss of their precious grandson.
Alex loved movies, black coffee and music. He worked at Home Hardware in Digby and was loved and appreciated by co-workers and customers. Alex loved to recommend movies and music and was a consistent referral for many. Alex was known by his family and friends to be a loving and caring person who genuinely cared for all he encountered.
Alex held a special place in his heart for the disenfranchised and often sought ways he could help encourage those who felt displaced or devalued. He loved to play electric guitar for the worship band at South Range Christian Church. Alex loved Jesus and people and he will be missed by his family and many friends from the US and Canada.
