It is with great sadness that the family of Albert Sampson announces his passing on October 27, 2018 at the age of 66, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
He is remembered with love and survived by his daughters; Renee, Jeannine and their mother Lorna; sons-in-law, Shaun and Tony; grandchildren, Emma, Olivia and Anthony; his brothers Clifford and Brian; close friend Heather and the Allen family.
Albert was predeceased by his foster parents Emily and John and parents Cornelius and Viola.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Albert will be held at Serenity Funeral Service (South) 5311 – 91 Street NW, Edmonton on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Strathcona Care Centre, who cared so much for Albert during his time there.
Memorial donations in Albert’s honour, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Edmonton
