Agnes Lammerant
Agnes passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice in Exeter, on November 26, 2018. Born on November 7, 1936, Agnes Madeleine Lammerant of Seaforth, formerly of Belgium, was in her 83rd year.
Loving mother of Mary Hicks (Charles Brant) of London, Dan Lammerant (Christina) of Lucknow, John Lammerant of London, Randy Lammerant (Ana Xavier) of Seaforth, Glenda De Boer (Gary) of Londesborough and Wendy Willms (Gerben Gerritsen) of Harrington. Cherished Grandma of Christopher (Kassie), Chelsea (Warren), Jeffrey (Zuza), Logan, Wade, Jasmine, Derek, Jordan, Alexis, and Great-Grandma of Cohen, Ali, Brooklyn, Cadence, Mason and Lincoln. Agnes will also be missed by her siblings Irma De Wispelaere, Lieve Verstegen (Omer), Godfried De Wispelaere (Anny) and Daniel De Wispelaere (Rita), all of Belgium, her sister-in-law Clara De Wispelaere of Listowel, as well as many nieces and nephews in Canada and Belgium.
Predeceased by her grandson Brandon, parents Philemon and Silvie De Wispelaere, her sister Maria De Wispelaere, her brother Camiel De Wispelaere, and by her brother-in-law Gerald Linskens.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, November 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. (with Parish Prayers at 1:30 p.m.). Agnes’ Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Friday, November 30th at 11 a.m., with Fr. Clare Coleman officiating. A reception will follow at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Program, Stratford Right to Life or Jessica’s House (cheques for Jessica’s House payable to: South Huron Hospital Foundation) would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
