Step-mother of Katherine Lidster of Wooler ON, Alan McDonald of Trenton ON, and Rob McDonald of Stockdale ON. She will also be remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren and great step grandchildren. Marie’s family would like to acknowledge the staff at The Carrington and Paramed for their expert care and compassion during the past several months. A veteran of WWII, Marie was always proud of her time in uniform and of the opportunity to have served her country. She continued this service as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for over fifty years in various positions to include President of Branch 100 Brighton. The family will receive friends at the Weaver – Warkworth on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 from 12noon till service time in the chapel at 1p.m. Interment Warkworth Cemetery.
