In Loving Memory
Agnes Bethune (nee Macdonald) beloved wife of the late Rev. George Bethune of Calgary, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the Agape Hospice.
Agnes was born in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. She was a nurse for most of her working life. Agnes will be lovingly remembered by Kathy (Donald) Munroe, Donald (Mary) Bethune, Andrew (Michele) Bethune; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father Angus Macdonald; her mother Katie Ann Macdonald; and her brothers Murdanie Macdonald and John Macdonald.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Baptist Church (2670 Radcliffe Dr. SE, Calgary) on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. A private family interment will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Grace Baptist Church, 2670 Radcliffe Dr. SE, Calgary, AB T2A 7M2 or to the Salvation Army Agape Hospice, 1302 – 8 Avenue NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1B8.
